Buy-A-Brick Pathway

Check out and customize your engraved brick to be placed in the connecting pathway to the new classroom. Your brick purchase will support the Friends of Majestic View Nature Center, providing funding for the construction of the new classroom facility and the expansion of programs at the Nature Center. The bricks will be installed in a pathway connecting the existing Nature Center with the new classroom in 2025.

Priority Goals for 2025

  • Publish one issue of the Friends of Majestic View Nature Center e-newsletter each quarter (targeting distribution in April 2025, June/July 2025, September 2025, and December 2025), and increase the total number of unique email subscribers from the current baseline of 46 to 70+ by December 31, 2025, to enhance consistent communication and engagement with supporters.

  • Recruit at least 10 new, active volunteers to support Friends of Majestic View committee activities, and increase total online donations received by 12% (from the 2024 total of $4,477 to a target of $5000 by December 31, 2025, through targeted storytelling campaigns via the quarterly newsletter, community press coverage (Arvada report and Arvada Press), in-person outreach events, and website updates, thereby demonstrably growing community support.

  • Compile and present key community engagement data (including positive community survey feedback percentages, support pledges, and newsletter subscriber growth) demonstrating community support for the Friends of Majestic View's mission to the Arvada City Council during a public meeting or formal work session by December 31, 2025, to build understanding and provide supportive context for future Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) discussions.

The MVF mission is to raise awareness in the community and City Council of the importance of environmental education and to help finance future needs through donations, fundraising events and grants so that the Majestic View Nature Center can fulfill their mission to inspire human-nature connections.
